Why We Built This Site
Minnesota gives the public access to many court records, but the access path depends on the record. Stearns County District Court is the trial court for civil, criminal, traffic, family, probate, and juvenile filings. The Court Administrator handles court administration and certified copy channels. The Sheriff's Office manages the public jail roster and outstanding warrant search. Marriage records are handled through the Auditor-Treasurer License Center and the Minnesota Official Marriage System. This site keeps those roles clear.

This is a privately run reference site. It is not connected to Stearns County, Minnesota District Court, the Court Administrator, the Sheriff's Office, or any state agency. There are real limits to what a private reference site can do:

- We cannot issue certified copies of any court document or vital record
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, hearing date, or address listed on this site is current right now
Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
